Okay, so the latest word Ive gotten here is that the Austin show has been postponed indefinitely. Thats coming from the promoter, so, there you have it. Im not exactly sure what that means either, but thats the word. Due to the sad events that fell upon the promoter and that surrounded that show, thats understandable. Ill keep you posted as soon as I know more. As far as Fuel and Epic go, wheels are in motion to break off that 10 year relationship and move on... ...

Yo, just wanted to say thanks for the radio stations who've been doing promo work with us this past week. Rock 108 (www.rock108.com) had Roadie for a Day in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Tracy was the ugh lucky winner if you consider carrying gear up and down snowy stairs lucky. Homestead-Miami Speedway today announced that Toryn Green will perform the national anthem prior to Ford Championship Weekend's Ford 400 race (Sunday, 3:30 p.m., ABC-TV)the final race in the Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup.

Yes, Toryn Green is our new lead singer and we welcome him to the Fuel camp! Toryn was the standout, following our world wide website auditions that we conducted last year, where we put the song Hemorrhage up on the site for potential lead vocalist to sing over. Out of over 1000 submissions from all over the world, Toryn submitted an amazing audition and then walked in and blew us all away in LA where we held in-person try-outs. He is the whole package, bringing his own great vocal style and vibe, while keeping in step with the history Fuel has already established. Normally, obviously, we would never even think about anyone from Am Idol as a singer for Fuel. However, ever since Chris sang Hemorrhage on the show, we began paying attention. Sorry, the show's not my thing, but at least most of the finalist can sing and aren't Britney Spearing it up there. However, Chris in my opinion has carried himself well on the show and has stayed true to his rock side, which is a serious credit to him considering the format. We have found some great guys through the audition process and in fact, were already headed in other directions when Chris unexpectedly got voted off the show... ...

Well....I did it. I played 2 massive radio hits (and a cover song) with a huge band in the their rehearsal room yesterday and this is how it went.

The audition was at Swinghouse; a well-known rehearsal studio in Hollywood. It is a non-descript white building with no signs on the front, so that fools like me can't find it and attempt to verbally whip the asses of the stars who don't want to talk to me, but instead just want to play their songs and not be bothered. The bands that rehearse there are bands like Blink 182, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, etc....get the picture?.. ...

We've been trying to make an official announcement for a while now, but due to legal reasons and the general BS that goes along with the music business, we've not been able to until now. Sorry to keep you hanging, I apologize, but it's been frustrating for all of us. I have so many great memories with Brett, from the first time he sang with the band, to when he joined the band, through the recording of all the music, to walking on all those stages throughout the world, to just hanging out ... it's been a very good ride... ...

I am reading all your postings, I share your concerns, and I share your frustrations. Your voice is being heard and it pains me to not be able to address all of your questions. But obviously, as many have written in their postings, and as many are acknowledging ... due to legal circumstances, I cannot comment on situations involving the band at this point. It was my feeling that all situations would have been settled many months ago and we would be well on our way now and you would all have had all the info you desired long ago... ...

Just wanted to tell all the fans in San Antonio and the surrounding area that we are sorry the show got canceled there. We were there, sound checked that morning, and were ready to go.
